Ze zijn al een paar dagen binnen, maar hier het laatste filmpje en verslag. Bedankt Herco, dat we op deze manier de jaarlijkse trail mochten volgen.

This is hallowed ground. On 18 September 1944, more than 8,000 British paratroopers landed on these vast heathlands during Operation Market Garden, determined to secure the route towards Arnhem. Their courage and sacrifice still echo across this remarkable landscape.

The story became world famous through A Bridge Too Far… but for our runners, it certainly wasn’t.

Our reverse handicap start brought everyone together, regardless of pace, so the finish became one shared celebration instead of a race against the clock. Exactly as it should be.

Congratulations to every runner. This week wasn’t about collecting medals. It was about running through history, sharing unforgettable moments, pushing your limits and making friendships that will last far beyond the finish line.

What a week. What an adventure.

See you at the start of the Liberation Trail 2027 in Normandy.
